Updating Your Child’s Vaccinations in Australia

If your family is new to Bendigo from overseas, your child’s vaccinations may need to be updated to meet Australian school and childcare requirements.

How to Arrange Vaccinations:

  1. Submit Your Details – Provide your information below to help our team review your child’s vaccination history.
     
  2. Vaccination Review – We will assess which vaccines are needed to bring your child up to date with the National Immunisation Program. This process may take up to 14 working days.
     
  3. Update the Immunisation Register – Any existing vaccinations will be added to the Australian Immunisation Register (AIR).
     
  4. Receive a Catch-Up Plan – If necessary, we will provide an individual immunisation catch-up plan outlining any required vaccines.
     
  5. Attend a Vaccination Session – Once you receive your updated catch-up plan, you can visit one of our community immunisation sessions to complete the vaccinations.

You can also consult your GP for advice on vaccination catch-ups and updating your child’s overseas vaccination records with the Australian Immunisation Register.

Immunisation records

Upload copies of previous immunisation records. Up to four attachments only, that do not exceed 10 MB in total. 

Please ensure:

  • All health records are in English. If not in English, please translate prior to submitting
  • The total combined file size of uploaded attachments is less than 10 MB. If not, your submission may not come through to us. We recommend compressing files to minimise their size.
